The difference between TPFE coated fabric and ordinary fabric is mainly manifested in the following aspects:
First, the raw materials are different
The base cloth of TPFE coated fabric is made of polyester or polyamide material, that is, polyester or nylon, which is often said to be coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material after special treatment. TPFE coated fabric has excellent wear resistance, pollution resistance, water resistance and corrosion resistance, can withstand the corrosion of a large number of chemicals, and has excellent high temperature resistance, can be used at high temperatures. The performance characteristics of ordinary fabrics vary according to the base material, generally with air permeability, moisture absorption, softness and other characteristics.
Three, different uses
TPFE coated fabric is widely used in environmental protection engineering, automobile manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food processing, building waterproofing, metallurgical polishing, aerospace and other fields. Four, processing technology is different
The processing technology of TPFE coated fabric is relatively complex, which requires special treatment of the substrate first, and then PTFE coated processing. Ordinary fabric processing is relatively simple, generally only on the base cloth for printing and dyeing, embroidery, sewing and other processing.
